Prior to ICTSI, Ms. McDonald was with accounting firm Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV) for 10 years, serving as Senior Director for Assurance and Professional Practice.

Ms. McDonald graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Bachelor of Science major in Business Administration and Accountancy in 1999. She placed fourth in the Philippine Certified Public Accountant Board Examinations in May 2000.
